The American Sheeple

Thanks to a 5-4 vote in the Supreme Court Obamacare is now constitutional.  Thanks to five people out of 300 million we will be given the largest tax increase in history.  President Obama and the Democrats said this was not a tax increase before and after the bill was passed.  These five people just became our death panel.  Earlier today Sarah Palin was quoted as saying, "Obama lies, freedom dies."    I find it appropriate to share an article written by a Russian journalist in 2009.  But first, let me share a quote with you from Thomas Jefferson.  "All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent."  The following article was written a few months after Obama was sworn into office and the Democrats controlled the House and the Senate. 

The American Sheeple

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.

Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.


These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?

These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters.

Then came Barack Obama's command that GM's (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of "pure" free markets, the American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.
So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a "bold" move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK's Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our "wise" Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.

Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper...but a "freeman" whimper.

So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive.

The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left.

The proud American will go down into his slavery with out a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.

Desperate Measures

President Obama did not receive a bump in the polls after his latest amnesty proposal for 800,000 illegal alliens.  His proposal allows them to stay and work if they have not broken the law.  But there seems to be a problem.  Under the law if you cross the border without going through the legal process you are illegal.  In other words, they have broken the law.

The lack of enthusiasm this time around has the left and the President searching for anything to buy votes.  With the amnesty he just allowed 800,000 illegal workers to stay when over 13 million Americans are unemployed, including millions of legal hispanics and other minorities.

As election day draws near President Obama and the Democrat party will find ways to buy votes as they see this election as devastating to them as the mid-term elections were.  Expect President Obama to issue an Executive Order to forgive student loans.  Many college graduates are finding it very difficult to find work in this Obama economic recovery and enthusiasm just isn't there to vote for him again.  Next you can expect and Executive Order for home owners.  For example if your house is under water expect the President to help you out before the election.

Finally, the Democrats will pull out their playbook they've been using since the 60's and start throwing racism around to try and motivate minorities to go out and vote for them.  They will start by accusing Republicans of racism for going after Attorney General Holder for the lies he told about Fast and Furious.  It's not that he lied to congress and is hiding information.  It's all about those evil racist Republicans going after a black man.   And one more thing, in their playbook they will turn to the page that shows them how to scare old people about Republicans taking away their Social Security and Medicare and how people will die under their policies.

  

American Retirement Act

Another disappointing jobs number could increase pressure on Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke to consider another round of quantitative easing.  Last week the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics showed an increase of only 69,000 jobs for the month of May.  That number came in well shy of the projected 158,000 and moved the unemployment rate up to 8.2 percent.

Instead of throwing tens of billions of dollars at this problem like we have done the last four years, perhaps a little thinking outside the box is in order.  What I am about to propose would normally go against my conservative nature.  However, we are facing a world wide recession and rising debt is making it difficult to manage budgets.

My proposal is simple and should eliminate all economic problems in our country.  There is approximately 2 million people over the age of 63 in the work force.  Let's give them $250,000 a piece severance for early retirement under the following stipulations.  First off, they must retire.  This will open up over 2 million jobs.  Unemployment is now on the downtrend and fewer people needing welfare.  With their $250,000 they pay off their existing mortgage.  Result, housing crisis is on the mend.  Finally, they must buy a new American car.  That's 2 million cars ordered, manufacturing fixed and the need to hire more workers which will add to more tax revenue for the government.  We already waisted trillions on TARP and stimulus plans that benefited banks and failed green energy companies.  And lets not forget that those shovel ready jobs were not so shovel ready.

How do we pay for this?  Well it will start to pay for itself immediately.  We will have 2 million fewer people on food stamps, unemployment compensation and other government assistance.  This plan will also spark economic growth which will increase tax revenue to the federal government.  If we still fall short of paying for this we can always withhold foreign aid to countries like Pakistan and other Middle Eastern countries.

This maybe to simple for elected officials to grasp.  Instead of throwing another tens of billions of dollars down a rat hole which will do nothing for our economy, this simple plan will cost us very little money.  This is the kind of thinking we need in Washington.

Backbone

The Democrat party just shot themselves in the foot.  The re-call election of Governor Scott Walker exposed the unions for who they really are.  Now a majority of Americans realize that public sector unions  receive generous benefits packages in exchange for campaign contributions and votes.  The Democrat politicians give the generous benefits and the unions donate portions of that money back to the campaign coffers of Democrats. 

President Obama is now talking about another round of stimulus.  Again he wants to send money to the states to make sure public sector employees don't get laid off.  This is a way for him and his party to make sure that union dues don't fall behind.  The Democrat party needs those unions flush with cash so they can have access to it for there elections.

The Democrats must be in panic mode.  Part of Governor Walker's plan to balance the budget was to make public sector employees fork over a few dollars a month for there own health care benefits.  The best part of this plan was removing the power of the unions to deduct dues straight from the checks of there members.  Now union employees have an option to opt out of the unions by not sending in any dues.  Over 35,000 former members decided not to send in dues and Walker received 38% of the union vote on Tuesday.  That's one percent better than his election in 2010.

Republican Governors across the country need to look at what Walker did.  The Unions spent over $25,000,000 on this recall.  If every Governor did what Walker did the unions would go broke trying to re-call everyone.  This $25 million is a lot of money the unions won't have for this election cycle.  If Republicans across the country can show backbone like Governor Walker did the left won't stand the chance of survival.  We will finally be able to keep them in a permanent minority.
